Professor Apergis holds a PhD in Economics from Fordham University, 1992, a Master of Arts from the Economic University of Athens, 1986 and a Bachelor’s from the University of Athens, 1984. He is currently a full professor at the University of Piraeus, Greece. His research interests are with Domestic and International Financial Markets. He has publications in international journals such as: Journal of
Banking and Finance, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, Kredit und Kapital, International Economic Journal, Atlantic Economic Journal, Weltwirtschaftliches Archiv, Journal of Economics and Finance, Manchester School of Economics, Journal of Economics and Business, Economics Letters. He has acted as referee for international journals, such as: Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, European Economic Review, Journal of Macroeconomics, Atlantic Economic Journal, International Economic Review. He is the Editor of International Journal of Economic Research and a Μember of the Editorial Board in International Advances of Economic Research as well as in the Journal of Economics and Finance.
Prof. Dr. Paresh Kumar NARAYAN

Professor Narayan who was born in 1977 is Australia's youngest Professor of Finance and is now the Alfred Deakin Professor at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. On completion of his doctoral studies, Professor Narayan was appointed as a lecturer at the Griffith Business School, on the Gold Coast, Australia, andwas promoted to senior lecturer in 2005. In 2006, he became Associate Professor.
He has published more than 200 papers in renowned journals all over the world. Research Papers in Economics (RePEC) ranks him in the top-3 Young Economists in the World (http://ideas.repec.org/top/top.young.html#10).
His main teaching interest is financial econometrics and research interests are financial econometrics, applied time series econometrics, applied finance energy and transport & financial markets. He is a member of American Economic Association, The Econometric Society, Royal Economic Society and Economic Society of Australia.
Assoc. Prof. Ilhan OZTURK

Dr. Ilhan OZTURK received his PhD degree in International Economics from the Department of Economics at Cukurova University, Adana, Turkey. He is currently a Associate Professor at Cag University, Mersin, Turkey. His research interests include the energy economics and international economics. He has published over 70 papers in international journals and participated many international conferences. He is the Editor of the IJEEP and IJEFI and he has been member of the editorial board in many international journals.
